“Luxury in Stowe”

Linda was the perfect hostess. Dinner for two in the wine cellar was an experience not to be missed.

“Above Average Quality Accomodations”

We are regular visitors to Stowe and must say that the Inn at Seven Springs offered us accomodations which were far more luxurious and spacious than any other lodgings that we had stayed at in the past. If you are looking for a place that is quiet and respects your privacy then look no further. In addition, the location was quite convenient for a stroll down to Main Street. The King bed was extremely comfortable and there was ample space and a high ceiling. The furnishings were top quality antiques.

Linda the hostess was extremely helpful and was eager to satisfy special requests for breakfast. Her pet parrot gave us hilarious free performances which really started our day on the right note. A small detail that we noticed might be a useful addition would be late afternoon lemonade and cookies. Other than that, only positive feedback to report.

“Beautiful, Welcoming and Reasonably Priced”

I visited this B&B with my boyfriend for his birthday, in early June (the slow season). We were the only guests and had this luxurious house to ourselves -- a rare treat! We stayed in the Henry Butler Suite, which was sumptuously decorated with gorgeous antiques (as is the whole house). There were even two separate bathrooms in our suite -- one decorated specifically for ladies (with a makeup table, stained glass window, and antique fixtures) and one with more modern styling for the gentlemen. Both bathroom floors were heated marble. Fireplaces in the sitting room, bedroom, and ladies bathroom. The place is a palace, really akin to staying at one of the Newport Mansions in Rhode Island.

Linda was a warm, welcoming host and a great cook. She made us feel at home and encouraged us to make use of the public areas in the house (allowing me to play the antique grand piano originally built for a Crown Head of Europe, letting us do a photo shoot in the large library, etc.) Every morning she laid out a great breakfast for us, and the morning we checked out, she sent us on our way with a container of the muffins she had baked that morning to enjoy later on. She was very gracious. The Inn at Seven Springs is one of the most reasonably priced B&B's I've ever experienced -- five star luxury for only $200/night (midweek and off-season, that is). I highly recommend this B&B to anyone.

“Unexpected luxury in Stowe”

Linda was the perfect hostess, and a great cook as well. The romantic dinner for two in the wine cellar was an experience not to be missed. Beautifully restored 1861 house with amazing antiques throughout. Super comfortable beds and sumptuous bedding. Great location within 10 minutes walking distance from the center of Stowe.

“Home away from home”

I wish...

We wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviews. It's just like a National Trust property inside but you're made to feel like you're at home. To top it off Linda is a fantastic host and a great cook. The shrimp dinner was as good as my meal two days earlier at Atlantic Seafood restaurant in Boston... If you're going to Stowe stop here.

“Perfect B and B!”

From beginning to end, we couldn't have asked for a better bed and breakfast or hostess in Linda, the owner of this beautiful place in Stowe. We have stayed at many b and b's throughout the years, and this is hands down the best one we have stayed in. We stayed in the Henry Butler Suite, which is huge and has all the comforts of home, but also all the luxuries of an elegant hotel, such as a nice sized plasma tv, a gorgeous bathroom (one for me, and one for my husband), and a comfortable king sized bed! i should mention the antiques in this house are magnificent and make the surroundings classy and regal. The steam shower was a favorite of mine!

Breakfast, which varied with omelets, pancakes, bacon, sausage, yogurt, fruit, muffins, etc was delicious and kept us full until late afternoon! Linda is a great cook, so much so that we enjoyed a scrumptous dinner in her dining room one night. My husband had pork tenderloin while i feasted on baby back ribs. Linda made us feel right at home and took such good care of us, giving us wonderful tips on restaurants and places to go, while finding time to cook, clean, and tend to running this gem of a b and b. She was always gracious, and we feel fortunate we also got to know her during our stay. The extras such as bottled water and soft drinks were just icing on the cake. Location is perfect, as it is within a ten minute walk to the quaint little town of Stowe. Big thanks to Linda for making our stay at the Inn at Seven Springs unforgettable!

“Outstanding”

My wife and I just spent three wonderful nights at the Inn at Seven Springs. The three previous reviews from "fromMass", "rockymtgirl" and "ILBMontreal" say it all. From Linda our gracious host to the spectacular inn we enjoyed our best B and B experience ever.

Book the Henry Butler Suite if you can.

“Extraordinary B & B Experience”

If I weren't a member of Tripadvisor already, I would join just to write this review. My wife and I were treated like royalty last weekend. Linda showed a balance of warmly hospitable innkeeper, excellent chef, concierge and curator. The finery of this home rivaled that of the Newport, RI mansions, yet it was all pulled together in a way that allowed us to experience the inn as our comfortable temporary home - no "don't touch" signs or stanchions here.

The lighting and sound technology were almost invisible as classical music wafted through our bedroom, always at our command. Linda prepared us a dinner that was the best of our stay in Stowe. Our breakfasts in the dining room, being entertained by Chablis the talking and dancing cockatoo, playing the masterpiece Hamburg Steinway, stepping out of my steam shower onto a heated marble floor, toasting my wife's birthday at a wine cellar dining room table, all were part of an unforgettable weekend.

“Exquisite Eastlake Antiques in Beautiful Mansion”

The Inn at Seven Springs is beautiful. You feel like you have entered a Victorian museum that you get to spend your time as you wish. However, there is no hands off feeling. Linda makes you feel right at home and will do anything for you to make your stay enjoyable. Our Henry Butler room was pure luxury! We would highly recommend it.

“Wonderful, romantic stay, highly recommended”

My husband and I recently had the wonderful pleasure of staying at the Inn at Seven Springs. Driving up to the B&B is just the beginning of experiencing this beautiful manor. As we came up the walkway, we we're greeted by our host, Linda, who proceeded to give us a personal tour of her home. Believe me, the pictures on the website do not even come close to conveying the beauty and elegance, but even with all the exquisite antique furnishings, it still maintains that cozy and homey feeling. We stayed in the Henry Butler suite, which was breathtaking! The bed was very comfortable and the steam shower ( in one of the two bathrooms) was our favorite! Even the bathroom floors we're heated, so nice. What makes this even more of an incredible experience is the host, Linda. Accommodating and gracious does not come close to describing her. She went out of her way to make us feel at home, from making many fires in the library for us while we relaxed and read, to serving us our breakfast earlier so we could get an early start snowshoeing each day. Our romantic getaway to Stowe and staying at this B&B was near perfect and we highly recommend it!

“B&B from an another era”

If you want to live in a superb manor for a couple of days that is definitely the B&B to pick. You will experience the life of wealthy people from the late 19th century and be surrounded by fabulous antiques from the period without having to compromise on the comforts of modernity (wireless Internet access, plasma TV, designer bathrooms...). You will also be welcomed by charming hosts that want you to fell at home and relax in their cherished home. You also will be surrounded by forests and have superb views of the Mount Mansfield from many large windows in the different rooms. This was a real treat for us and we hope to be back soon.

“Incredible Stay - A diamond in the rough”

We decided to spend the New Year's vacation in Stowe, Vt. and found this wonderful B&B. Linda, our host was very accommodating and our stay was so enjoyable we extended it two extra days. The house is beautiful and although it is filled with expensive antiques it is very warm and cozy. We will definitely returning for another stay in the near future. Would highly recommend vs other logging in the area.
